Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Tesseract Games ("we", "us", "our") and govern your use of our games, including Trivia Go, and our websites (together, the "Services"). By downloading, installing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Services. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or legal guardian's permission, and they agree to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Licence to use the Services

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the Services for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse engineer or create derivative works from the Services, except where the law expressly allows it.

3. Accounts

Your progress may be linked to a player ID or to a platform account (such as Apple Game Center or Google Play Games). You are responsible for keeping access to your device and accounts secure. We are not responsible for loss of progress caused by losing access to your device or platform account, though we will try to help where we can.

4. Virtual items & purchases

• The Services may include virtual currency, items, characters or other content ("Virtual Items"), which can be earned in the game or bought with real money.
• Virtual Items are licensed to you, not sold. They have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money, transferred or sold outside the game.
• All purchases are processed by Apple or Google under their terms. Except where required by law or the store's refund policy, purchases are final and non-refundable. Refund requests must be made to Apple or Google.
• We may change, rebalance or remove Virtual Items as part of running the game. If we permanently shut down a game, we will give reasonable notice where possible.

5. Player conduct

When using the Services, you agree not to:

• cheat, exploit bugs, or use bots, mods, hacks or any unauthorised third-party software;
• interfere with, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our servers or other players' accounts;
• choose a username or post content that is offensive, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, infringing or illegal;
• impersonate anyone, including Tesseract Games staff;
• buy, sell or trade accounts or Virtual Items outside the game;
• use the Services for any commercial purpose without our written permission.

We may reset progress, remove content, or suspend or ban accounts that break these rules.

6. Your content

If you submit content (for example a username, profile picture or feedback), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display and modify it for operating and improving the Services. You confirm you have the right to submit it. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

7. Intellectual property

The Services, including their code, art, music, characters, questions, text, logos and trademarks, are owned by Tesseract Games or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership to you.

8. Ads & third-party services

The Services may display ads or link to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for third-party content, products or practices, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.

9. Changes & availability

We are constantly improving our games and may add, change or remove features at any time. The Services may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates or events outside our control. Some features require an internet connection.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time (see how to delete your account). We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Services. On termination, your licence to use the Services and any Virtual Items ends.

11. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free. Trivia questions are provided for entertainment and we do not guarantee that every answer is accurate.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tesseract Games will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or Virtual Items, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 6 months before the claim or USD 50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of [İstanbul], without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have in your country of residence, including the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.

14. Apple-specific terms

If you downloaded our game from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Tesseract Games only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the game or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is not responsible for any claims relating to the game (including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims). Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of the game must also comply with the App Store's Standard End User License Agreement.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we will notify you in the game. Continuing to use the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
