Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Tesseract Games ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and shares information when you play our games (including Trivia Go), visit our websites (intesseract.games and its subdomains) or contact us (together, the "Services").
By using the Services you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Who we are
Tesseract Games is an independent game studio based in Türkiye. For the purposes of applicable data protection laws (including the EU/UK GDPR and Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, "KVKK"), we are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
2. Information we collect
We try to collect as little as possible. We do not ask for your real name, phone number or home address to play our games.
Information collected automatically
- Game data: a player ID we generate, your in-game username/nickname, progress, character level and items, scores, answers and match history.
- Device data: device model, operating system and version, language, country/region (derived from device settings or IP address), app version and a device or advertising identifier (only where permitted — see Advertising & tracking).
- Usage data: sessions, screens visited, features used and performance data such as crash reports and load times.
- Network data: IP address, used for connecting to our servers, security and fraud prevention, and approximate location (country level).
Information you provide
- Account sign-in: if you sign in with Apple Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android), we receive your player identifier from that service and, depending on your settings, your display name/alias. We use this to link your progress to your account. We never receive your Apple ID or Google password.
- Support messages: your email address and anything you include when you contact us.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We receive a confirmation of the transaction (product, price, time and a transaction ID) so we can deliver your item. We never receive or store your payment card details.
3. How we use information
- To provide and operate the game: save your progress, sync across devices, deliver purchases and run leaderboards or multiplayer features.
- To keep the game fair and secure: detect cheating, fraud and abuse.
- To understand and improve the game: analyse how features are used, fix bugs and balance gameplay.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To show ads (including optional rewarded ads) and measure their performance.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Legal bases
Where the GDPR or KVKK applies, we process personal data on the following bases:
- Performance of a contract — to provide the game you chose to play.
- Legitimate interests — to keep the Services secure, prevent cheating and improve our games.
- Consent — for personalised advertising and tracking, where required. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation — where we must keep or disclose information by law.
5. How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the Services:
- Service providers who host our servers and databases, provide analytics and crash reporting, or show ads in our games (see below). They may only use the data to provide their services to us.
- Other players — in live 1v1 duels and other public features, other players can see your username, character, pet, room and match results.
- Platform providers such as Apple and Google, to process purchases and sign-in.
- Legal reasons, if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our players, us or others.
- Business transfers, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets; you will be notified of any change.
6. Third-party services
Our games may use the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:

| Google AdMob | Advertising | policies.google.com/technologies/ads |
7. Advertising & tracking
Trivia Go is free to play and supported by ads, including optional rewarded ads that give you in-game rewards. Ads are served through Unity LevelPlay mediation and Google AdMob. Our advertising partners may collect your device's advertising identifier, IP address, device information and ad interaction data to show ads, limit how often you see them, prevent fraud and measure their effectiveness.
- iOS: we only access your Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) if you allow tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can change this any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- EEA/UK: we ask for your consent before showing personalised ads, and you can change your choice from the game's settings.
Our website does not use advertising cookies or tracking.
8. Data retention
We keep your game data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, or if an account is inactive for [24 months], we delete or anonymise the associated personal data within 30 days, unless we must keep it longer for legal reasons (for example, purchase records required by tax law). Support emails are kept for up to [2 years].
9. Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it;
- correct inaccurate data;
- delete your data;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing;
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Türkiye, the KVKK Authority; in the EU, your national supervisory authority).
California residents: you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising except where you have allowed tracking.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@intesseract.games. We will respond within 30 days and may need to verify that the account belongs to you (for example, by asking for your in-game player ID).
10. Deleting your data
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time:
- In the game: Settings → Account → Delete account.
- By email: send your player ID (shown in Settings) to privacy@intesseract.games with the subject "Account deletion request".
Deletion is permanent: your progress, character and unused purchased items cannot be recovered. See also our account deletion instructions.
11. Children
Our games are not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country, such as 16 in some EU countries). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) between the game and our servers and restricted access to our systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your data.
13. International transfers
We and our service providers may process data in countries other than your own, including Türkiye, the European Union and the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. If changes are significant, we will let you know in the game.
